The village of Ushot in Jandar district officially granted the status of “Tourist village”

The event was attended by representatives of the Tourism Committee, the Hokimiyat of Bukhara region, the regional tourism department, leadership of the Jandar district, as well as representatives from the tourism sector, local residents, and the general public.
Speakers at the event detailed ongoing reforms in the region aimed at developing tourism, the economic and cultural significance of tourist villages, diversification of services in remote areas, as well as achieving sustainable employment for youth and women.
Following this, the Tourism Committee formally presented a special certificate confirming the designation of Ushot village as a “tourist village.”
As part of the event, an info-tour was organized for tourism industry representatives to visit newly established tourist facilities in Ushot village. Guests were introduced to guest houses, artisan workshops, the “House of Uzbek Bread Culture,” and other tourism opportunities the village offers.
