For information: "CITIC Construction" is a subsidiary of the largest state financial corporation of China "CITIC Group". CITIC Construction is an international engineering company. Its main activities include turnkey construction of industrial, infrastructure, sports and real estate facilities, implementation of projects on a BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) basis, export-import supplies of mechanical and electronic equipment. The Company implements projects in the CIS, South-East Asia, South America, Middle East and Africa.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the expansion of the portfolio of joint projects, primarily in the field of road transport and engineering infrastructure, as well as modernization of irrigation systems in Uzbekistan. The implementation of this cooperation will ensure more efficient use of water resources and contribute to the development of transport infrastructure in the regions.

Also, during the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects of expanding bilateral co-operation in industry, heat supply and agriculture.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to intensify cooperation in order to further develop new areas of cooperation.
