Aspects of joint financing of startup projects were discussed

For reference: the venture company "DOMiNO Ventures" is one of the most active participants in the venture capital market in the region. The fund operates in such countries as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, as well as in Europe and Turkey. Over the past five years, dynamic growth has been observed in the region: the number of startups has increased 4.5 times (more than 4,500), and the total volume of venture transactions reached $120 million in 2024.
At the meeting, representatives of the fund presented current initiatives and plans for the development of the regional startup environment. Special attention was paid to the "BetterFuture AI Acceleration" program, aimed at supporting startups in the field of artificial intelligence.
Successful examples of the following Uzbek startups, in which the fund invested, were also presented:
Tass Vision - video analytics system based on artificial intelligence;
PointAi - a solution to support e-commerce;
Datatruck - a platform for optimizing logistics in cargo transportation.
The company's plans to invest $50 million in the region over the next 5 years, as well as financing more than 20 startups worth around $100 million, were of particular interest.
At the meeting, an agreement was reached on the implementation of joint programs in cooperation with the venture company "DOMiNO Ventures" and the National Venture Fund "UzVC."
An exchange of views also took place on the exchange of professional knowledge and experience in the implementation of the tasks set, and an agreement was reached on joint work to develop the startup ecosystem.
