Cooperation with “ILF Consulting Engineers” Launched to Enhance Energy Efficiency

The Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan has signed strategic cooperation agreements with Mr. Oskar Gruber, Director of Management Consulting at ILF Consulting Engineers, and Deputy Minister Samandar Sadullayev to implement energy efficiency projects across the country.
As part of this partnership, the following activities are planned:
- Development of project terms of reference in line with international standards;
- Conducting comprehensive energy audits;
- Technical oversight of energy efficiency measures at each facility in accordance with global benchmarks;
- Monitoring the maintenance of installed equipment and technologies.
The agreements cover the following key projects:
- In 2025: improving energy efficiency at 89 social sector facilities in the Bukhara region;
- In 2025–2026: improving energy efficiency at 60 social and public buildings across 14 regions of Uzbekistan;
- In 2025: enhancing energy efficiency at 43 multi-apartment residential buildings in Chinoz and Oltiariq districts.
This collaboration represents a significant step towards the sustainable development of regional infrastructure and the promotion of energy efficiency in Uzbekistan, guided by leading international best practices.
