The meeting was also attended by Kan Sanjin, the Head of the Representation of the Export-Import Bank of Korea in Uzbekistan, and other representatives of the bank. Their visit aimed to strengthen economic ties between Uzbekistan and Korea, particularly in the development of infrastructure projects carried out under the public-private partnership (PPP) mechanism.
During the meeting, the prospects for future bilateral cooperation were discussed, with a focus on advancing healthcare projects based on modern approaches, and sharing Korea’s experience in public-private partnership projects in the healthcare sector. Additionally, the possibilities for financing Uzbekistan’s infrastructure projects by the Export-Import Bank of Korea were reviewed.
Both sides expressed their readiness to discuss specific areas of cooperation in the future and continue working on implementing mutually beneficial projects.
