Uzbekistan is home to unique natural wealth, including rare and endemic species, many of which are listed in the Red Data Book. The country has an extensive network of protected natural areas — national parks, nature reserves, and sanctuaries — where natural ecosystems are preserved and work is carried out to protect wildlife.
To preserve biodiversity, the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change conducts animal population surveys and monitoring, installs camera traps, and implements biotechnical measures such as supplementary feeding, the creation of artificial nesting sites, and the establishment of watering places.
Each of us can contribute to the protection of animals by treating nature with care, avoiding the destruction of their habitats, and supporting initiatives aimed at conserving wildlife.
