ZTE Hosts Forum “ZTE Nebula AI: AI technologies Shaping Central Asia's digital future” within ICT Week

As part of ICTWeek Uzbekistan – 2025, ZTE organized the forum “ZTE Nebula AI: AI technologies Shaping Central Asia's digital future,” which gathered representatives of government agencies, industry experts, and academia to discuss the transformative role of artificial intelligence in shaping the digital economy of Central Asia.
At the forum, ZTE presented its “Nebula AI” ecosystem, comprising integrated solutions designed to accelerate digital transformation across various sectors. Key components include the Nebula large-scale model platform for telecommunications and research, an AI-powered Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) solution to enhance home internet quality, and the NebulaAI operating system for next-generation devices. Built on advanced language models and AI agents, these solutions aim to improve operational efficiency, support decision-making, and enhance user experience. Currently, ZTE solutions are applied in more than 18 networks, with over 100 projects recognized as industry benchmarks.
In his opening remarks, First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies Oleg Pekos outlined national priorities in digital transformation. Xue Bin, Vice President of ZTE Corporation and President for CIS countries, confirmed the company’s commitment to advancing AI technologies and strengthening cooperation in Central Asia.
The central part of the forum featured a panel discussion, “Artificial Intelligence Technologies Shaping the Digital Future of Central Asia.” Panelists included Vladimir Norov, Chairman of the Central Asian Association for Artificial Intelligence, Bakhtiyor Mahkamov, Rector of Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, and Wang Guangdun, General Director of ZTE Uzbekistan. Discussions focused on the national AI strategy, prospects for regional cooperation, and the implementation of AI solutions in emerging markets.
Special attention was devoted to developing human resources and preparing a new generation of specialists capable of driving digital transformation in the region.
