Cooperation with ZTE Corporation in Telecommunications and IT Outsourcing to be Expanded

As part of his business visit to the People’s Republic of China, Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov held talks with Mei Zhenhua, Vice President for the CIS and Asia at ZTE Corporation.
The meeting reviewed joint initiatives implemented in recent years, particularly in the development of Uzbekistan’s telecommunications infrastructure and the modernization of mobile communication networks.
It was noted that by the end of 2025, ZTE’s representative office intends to establish new capacities in the IT outsourcing sector.
In the course of the visit, several contracts and cooperation agreements were signed between ZTE and Uzbekistan’s leading communication and telecommunications operators. The delegation was also introduced to the company’s latest technological developments.
The partnership with ZTE plays a significant role in enhancing the country's telecommunications infrastructure, expanding access to digital services, and advancing IT outsourcing capabilities.
The outcomes of the meeting provide a solid foundation for deepening bilateral technological cooperation, implementing innovative solutions, and accelerating digital transformation.
