Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan

During the visit, the delegation was presented with detailed information on the activities of IT Park, including the innovative ecosystem established, ongoing and prospective projects, and the favorable conditions created for investors. Following the presentation, the delegation visited the UzSoc Center, where they were introduced to the Center’s work in the fields of information security, social media monitoring, and related areas.

The visit also included a tour of the UZINFOCOM Center, where the guests were introduced to Uzbekistan’s digital infrastructure, data centers, and technology-based services.
The central part of the visit was a meeting with the Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov. The discussion focused on prospects for bilateral cooperation, content policy, youth development, artificial intelligence, the digital economy, and the enhancement of information security in social media.

At the conclusion of the meeting, it was noted that the dialogue represents an important step toward building open, long-term, and strategic cooperation between Meta and the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
